Eden Rock Customer Update
18.3.20
Unfortunately as of tonight (10pm, 18th March), Eden Rock Edinburgh will temporarily be closing its doors to our beloved customers. The decision has been made in light of recent government advice, with the wellbeing of staff, customers and the wider community in mind. We will continue to closely monitor the situation as it develops, and we will of course keep you up to date daily on social media as events unfold.
This is a tough time for everyone, and it looks currently as though small businesses are going to be hit particularly hard. In no uncertain terms Eden Rock needs your help to weather the storm. We are one of thousands of leisure businesses across the UK who do not have pandemic cover within our insurance policy. We are incredibly thankful for all the support from our customers and we ask that you continue to support us with your memberships, by continuing to keep an eye on our social media and by visiting us again as soon as we reopen.
Classes and bookings will of course be rescheduled. We will pause all annual passes, and anyone on punchcards can continue as normal once we're back open. From tomorrow morning all direct debits will be set to recur at 0.00 until we reopen. However, if you can, and would like to support the business by keeping your direct debit as normal, we thank you, and ask that you email us at edinburgh@edenrockclimbing.com.
Climbing is such a social sport that it makes distancing yourself from others all the more difficult. We're incredibly thankful for the community that has formed around us - we're going to miss all of you during this downtime, but rest assured we will get through this together. Eden Rock will continue to be the warm fuzzy centre of your climbing community for years to come!
The team will be working hard to make improvements to the wall during this downtime. And we'll be back better than ever when we reopen, so you can put all of your quaran-training to good use!
Big love - Team Eden Rock ❤️
